This book embraces nineteen chapters beginning with reproduction and mechanism of multiplication with the basic informations. The physiology of breeding mechanism and the environment for fish breeding covered the natural breeding of different varieties of fishes. A separate chapter has been dealt on cytogenetics in fish breeding. The gene transfer technology and production of transgenic fish together with different methods of gene transfer have also been explained in details.
